About the TTSOHNS

We are a non-profit fraternity of Otolaryngologists and Head & Neck surgeons dedicated to promoting progressive and safe practice of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Trinidad & Tobago Society of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery started in 1993, due to the efforts of our country's leading otolaryngologists at the time, Mr. Austin Trinidade, Mr. Dexter Shim and Mr. Solaiman Juman. As the association grew in membership, the efforts of Mr. Wendell Dwarika and Mr. Steve Medford contributed to forming the association as it now stands. Its present membership includes both trained and in-training otolaryngologists enrolled in the DM ORL programme offered by the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus.

Mr. Solaiman Juman,
President of the TTSOHNS
