The Mountain Spice Experience

The 1777 Cedullar of Population was a Spanish treaty bringing white and coloured French settlers to Trinidad.

The coloureds settled in the mountains and more difficult areas where after 2½ centuries, they still

produce the world’s

best spices and speak French patois. This tour gives us an opportunity to explore the mountain roads by antique 4X4s and join in the preparation of spices for market. We’ll also have a traditional lunch with a family in the community and a drink

at the world’s most scenic Rumshop. The climax of

the tour is a stop in the clouds for a visit to La Vigie, for the most scenic views in the Caribbean region.

The TrIndian Experience

We travel south for a super Indian cultural treat. See the Temple in the sea, Mosques, and the tallest Murti outside of India. 'TrIndians' while keeping ties with the motherland, offer a cultural package not seen

elsewhere. We’ll visit the city of San Fernando and its Landmark Hill,

Anaparima, which was a pilgrimage

site for the natives of South and Central America and the Caribbean. Here we can have a picnic lunch from Mona’s Roti Shop. We’ll have a taste of lightly or heavily spiced roti as only ‘TrIndians can prepare it with curried choices, when available, such as chicken, duck, conch, goat and more.
